I would think that it would only be fair that the Chamber was able to reduce their request by 25 percent with their money they got from Charlie Adams Day and other things, that Main Street be reduced by the same amount from $10,000 to $7,500.

So the old saying, poor planning on one party's part does not necessarily create an emergency on another party's part.

I recognize the fact that we operate under the premise that an individual is innocent until proven guilty, but that standard is one that is addressed in criminal court. We are not dealing with that same standard in addressing this matter.
