There's a reason why they're leading our division and that's because they're able to execute the fundamentals in close games.
Right now it's time to relax a little with my family, come back and do it all over again. I think the future in New Hampshire is bright because we work for a great organization.
What I look at is we have to play hard every game and we have to do a better job of reacting to situations in the game in the best possible way. When anyone gets result-oriented that's when their judgments get clouded.
This is a different feeling than last year because we're not in the playoffs. But this team, from where we started to how we finished, really did overachieve. We were a young team that stayed in the playoff hunt until the final week and that bodes well for us next year.
Ryan Roberts (.272, 15 HR, 44 RBI) was another consistent player for us, and the list goes on. We struggled early hitting, but picked it up as the season rolled along.
He threw his fastball for strikes, and when he got behind, he threw his slider for strikes against an aggressive-hitting team.
