I knew I would have my revenge someday.
Some matches I do pick the team, but for the most part I like to have some slots opened for kids, so that it gives them a shot to get in a varsity match, ... Ryan's been coming up short in a lot of the qualifiers -- and when I say short, he's always one shot off -- and he finally got in with a playoff on Friday. So I'm happy for him.
This is just a sideshow, ... Warren Beatty is our stunt disrupter this morning.
We don't steal money from people's paychecks without asking them for it. That's Soprano fundraising over in the union boss world, and we don't play that game.
We played OK -- I thought we were a little sluggish and methodical on offense in the first half. I thought we got out-hustled in the first half.
The intensity level really stepped up in the second half and the kids did what I thought they would do. Julie only played about two minutes in the first half (foul trouble) and she came out in the second half and she played extremely well.
People appreciate the effort that goes into saving those trees. They provide instant character to any development. It's not always possible, but you usually can save trees by giving it some thought.
We closed out at the right time of the day with a big game. We came out in the second half and boom, boom, boom. We're in the hunt.
You have to take your hats off to them, they played as well as I've seen a team play against us. If our group will shoot 53 percent from the field every night, I'm elated. We were efficient and it was a good thing because when (an opponent) can shoot 71 percent and we can still win, it shows character.
She did a great job of getting position and finishing and our wings and guards did a nice job of getting her the ball. The passes were right where they had to be and she finished.
She was solid -- just another solid game from Julie.
We played well defensively -- only two points in the second half is good no matter who you play.
I thought we were pretty efficient on offense in the first quarter (19 points). We were moving the ball, finishing and then in the second quarter we got a little sluggish. We just stopped moving offensively (in the third quarter). We got some good shots, we just couldn't get them to go in. It was just one of those quarters.
We talked about getting better ball movement and we adjusted to what they were doing with their trapping. We made a few shots and defensively, we picked it up a notch in the second half.
The boys put on a clinic. We have four seniors who are going out as back-to-back state champions. They will relive these moments the rest of their lives. What a legacy.
I thought to myself, well, it was a nice run, but it's over.
They put some incredible numbers up. What an experience and what a performance.
It was an awesome display of bowling talent.
Too often, young adults risk their financial futures by going without health insurance because they don't understand it or don't think they need it.
The key was (Julie Drescher and Michelle Wilson) got into foul trouble and we got out of sync and got in trouble. We didn't respond the way I thought we could. That's something we have to make sure we do, and we have in the past. We have players capable of getting it done.
If I wanted to, I could get five new clients in Sacramento in the next ten days.
It's very difficult (for Buffalo) to swallow. For us, too, especially in a building like Calgary's where it's tough enough to play. It's a mistake we're supposed to prevent. We have a bad night whenever it happens. Everyone's upset here.
Any political pressure ... would be absolutely helpful.
She usually has the assignment of the opponent's best player, unless it's a post. She takes great pride in what she knows we want her to do. She's also one of the best leaders we've had off the floor. With her temperament, she has fun all the time. She's not a leader that yells or screams and makes demands, but when she does say something it's to the point and the kids respect it. It's been effective for this young group of kids.
She's a handful. She can take over offensively. When she does that it allows us to open up our game.
