I thought everyone had to pick up every phase of our game.
Allen is one of the few guys who can tolerate a lot of pain, and at game time you know he really wants to play. We take him for granted.
If Allen is hurt to the point where he can't play, you know he's really, really hurt.
The ball will be in Chris' hands a lot, and guys will have to cut and move off him. Allen is a player, a guy who can go get his own shot; tonight we have to utilize Chris a lot to help get guys their shots.
I think we're getting a little bit better on the defensive end. That's where we're going to make our move.
We're a work in progress. We're trying to get there [and] we're gonna get there. We're working our way toward getting better; we're going to keep trying, that's what I can tell you. It's not turning [around] overnight; we've just got to put the effort in.
It's not [about sending a message]. We just have to find a way to work. If we do that on a consistent basis, we have more of a chance at winning games.
I thought that we did a pretty good job in not getting caught up in the way Phoenix played. We don't have the offensive players that they have. Any team can get caught in the way they push the ball.
I think all his guys love to play with him. I think that's the biggest compliment a point guard can have is that they love to play with him because they know he can score the ball, but he's always looking to pass to other people and I think that's one of the biggest compliments you can have.
You get a guy who can bang a little bit, rebound a little bit, dive on the floor. You got a hustle guy who does a little bit of everything.
We just have to endure it and somehow find a way to change it.
